Rivers and rapids are rated on an international scale which ranges from the easiest Class 1 to the near impossible Class 6. As the numbers get higher the difficulty and excitement increase.

Our goal is to provide our guests with the most enjoyable rafting experience possible.

Family Friendly

Athabasca Falls Canyon Run
Class 2+

This family-friendly trip starts at the base of Athabasca Falls and splashes through numerous rapids with high canyon walls on each side. After the canyon stretch, rafters enjoy the wide open views of the scenic Athabasca Valley to our take out.

This trip offers the ultimate family adventure and is suitable for families of mixed ages and apprehensive first time rafters. Minimum age is 5 years.

Duration: 3.5 hours round-trip (includes return transport from Jasper)
Daily departures: 9:30am and 1:30pm

White Water Challenge

Sunwapta River
Class 3

‘Sunwapta’ is the Stoney Indian term for ‘turbulent river’ and this river lives up to its name. With a steep gradient and numerous rapids this is Jasper’s wild water rollercoaster ride. The only class 3 located fully within Jasper National Park it offers spectacular scenery and good wildlife opportunities. Don’t miss the high water mid-June to late July!

This trip does not require any previous experience and is suited for physically active individuals who are at least 12 years of age, weigh 90 lbs (41 kgs) or more and are looking for an exhilarating ride.

Duration: 4 hours round-trip (includes return transport from Jasper)
Daily departures: 9:30am and 1:30pm

Jasper’s Big Water

The Mighty Fraser River
Class 3+

From our launching point in the shadow of the Mount Robson, the “Mighty Fraser” serves up turbulent rapids bound to soak every rafter! After a short portage around Rearguard Falls, we paddle into the best whitewater section of the trip. The Fraser River offers the chance to spot wildlife and seasonal spawning salmon.

This trip does not require any previous experience and are suited for physically active individuals who are at least 12 years of age, weigh 90 lbs (41 kgs) or more and are looking for an exhilarating ride.

Duration: 5 hours round-trip (includes return transport from Jasper)
Daily Departures: 10:00am and 1:00pm

This vehicle-based tour will take you to seasonal locations with the best opportunity to spot various animals such as elk, bear, moose, sheep and deer in their natural habitat. Throughout the journey, your professional local guide will passionately share the magic of Jasper’s wild side, giving you valuable insights into the challenges of managing and protecting wildlife within the National Park. We succeed in spotting wildlife on 95% of our tours.
